Somehow I can here the theme song from The Adam's Family playing along with the title of this post!?
I don’t know if you knew,
We like to read at our house.
I read blogs, magazines, and informative books.
Word Geek reads books, books, and more books.
Seriously, he is an awesome bookworm.
Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Young Adult, and Classical Literature.
Dictionaries too.
Yeah!?
Word Geek.
Now you don’t have to wonder where he got his nickname.
Lizard Man likes anything with bugs or his favorite characters,
I Spy books and the like too.
Love Bug loves, well…
Any book she can get her hands on,
Especially if there is a writing implement near by.
I’ve decided to share our favorites here.
Today I’m sharing a children’s book that is in our collection.
It is great to read on a cold winter day.
It makes you feel like spring isn’t too far away, even though it really is…

A Favorite Around Here
Yesterday I read one of the kid’s favorite books that an old friend gave me as a gift after Lizard Man was born, called “God Made You Special!” a Veggie Tale board book. Have you heard of it? Have you heard of them?
Veggie Tales are Love Bug’s new favorite. We sing the theme song quite often around here and that is something that Love Bug has learned to sing....”Veggie Tales…Veggie Tales…” She is so cute!
We usually sing the main theme song's chorus…..
VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales! Broccoli! Celery! Gotta beVeggieTales! Lima beans! Collard greens! Peachy keen!VeggieTales! Cauliflower! Sweet and sour! Half and hour! VeggieTales! There's never-ever-ever-ever-ever been a show like VeggieTales! There's never-ever-ever-ever-ever been a show like VeggieTales! It's time for VeggieTales!
Veggie Tales are a Christian based cartoon. I’m so happy they have a great cartoon that is Christian based for the kids these days. I know the cartoon might seem a little odd at first but, it is quite addicting, and the kids love it! So check them out sometime, our library even has some of the books, dvd’s, vhs tapes, and cd’s, maybe yours does too. They also have a website with some fun stuff too
